Discover the hidden beauty behind judgments
An introductory taster to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) - with Gina Seilern
Whether we like it or not, we all learned how to judge. A deeply ingrained habit, which often acts as a barrier to connection with others (and with ourselves).
Perhaps for good reason then, many of us have layered our judging habits with the added thought “I should not judge”.
But what if we turn towards our judgments, and listen to what they have to say?
“Every judgment is a tragic expression of an unmet need” - Marshall Rosenberg
Join this interactive workshop to experience what happens when we listen deeply to our judgments, and uncover the hidden gems waiting to be revealed.
We will explore:
Common patterns of thinking behind moments of disconnection with other people (and with ourselves)
How to transform hurt & pain into compassion for self - and others
The power of Empathy, and the simple beauty of deep listening
How to be honest without being judgmental or demanding
And more…

I first learned NVC in 2012 and was WOWed to find so many things that simultaneously touched my deepest nature and met me in my deepest longings. The healing magic of empathic listening, the liberation of learning that living in integrity with my values does not have to happen in a binary of right and wrong, and the electric quality of connection that can happen with the power of vulnerable honesty. It is now a most meaningful life’s work to undo the conditioning that has me forgetting, again and again, these most simple and powerful truths, and I love few things more than to share this gift with others. I teach workshops, hold 1-1 sessions, and offer tailored trainings for groups on request. I am a mother to three young kids.
