Thursday Afternoon - Breathwork for Compassion with Claire Chapman

Breathwork for Compassion with Claire Chapman

"Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive". — The Dalai Lama

Breathwork for Compassion is an opportunity for participants to discover a natural remedy for stress and anxiety, along with greater self-awareness, love, and compassion for self, community and the collective as we all navigate these difficult times together.

Beginning with a meditation, this will be an opportunity to leave the outside world behind, dropping into the felt sense of the body. Followed by a heart coherence breath which is a beautiful and one of my favourite breathing patterns, which aims to bring participants focus into the heart space. It also improves heart rate variability, relieves anxiety and promotes relaxation- this can also be integrated into each participant's daily life for wellbeing.

We will then move into a circular breathwork practice together, with various options for different levels of experience. An intentional and deep circular breathwork practice is a wonderful way to intentionally cultivate feelings of kindness and caring for yourself and others. Adopting the practice can also connect you with your innate wisdom to bring greater awareness and inner support for making decisions in your life.

Finally we will come back with a short yoga nidra session for grounding so participants feel ready to go back into the world feeling more revitalised and with an increased sense of compassion for self, community and the collective.

Things to bring/materials required: Please bring blankets, sheepskins, warm comfortable clothing and a bottle of water. There will be some of these available but please make sure you can be as comfortable as possible.

Biography: Claire Frances desires to support her clients to be able to experience the full spectrum of what it means to be human today. Breathwork and embodiment sessions support clients to source their own inner resilience and strength in order to navigate these difficult times, whilst also being able to feel the joy and appreciation of the beauty of this world. As a practicing breathwork practitioner since 2020, she has since trained as a yoga nidra guide and embodiment coach, Claires sessions are always person centred and honour each one's unique story.
A lifelong student in ancient feminine practices, archetypal psychology and The Tarot, Claire also weaves her knowledge of these ancient systems alongside evolutionary astrology (in which she is currently studying a 3 year diploma) into her sessions with her clients who wish to explore these esoteric systems. Claire is also available for readings.
