Mindful Sauerkraut Making with Get Pickled Somerset
Join Paula in the first event of the Mindful Fermenter Series where we will use the act of fermenting as a meditation on the relationship between ourselves and the world around us. From the soil, via the vegetables we use and microbes around us we are interconnect with the Earth and our environment.

In this hands-on class, you'll learn the simple yet transformative steps of crafting delicious, probiotic-rich sauerkraut from scratch. You will leave this session with a deeper understanding of the relationship with the invisible world and with a jar of sauerkraut too.
At the end of our session Paula will host a Q&A session for all your fermentation queries.

Biography: Paula Neubauer is Brazliian export to Somerset, where she decided to drop a career in academia to explore her passion in preserving and fermenting the gorgeous fruit and vegetable of her adopted home. She started Get Pickled Somerset in Frome and since then once a Great Taste Awards and Taste of the West Awards. She loves being in the kitchen and creating flavors and textures but what she loves even more is educating people how fermentation is good for you and the environment. A member of the Fermenters Guild, she is committed to share the microbial love far and wide!
